In a true nail-biter, we came agonizingly close but fell just two runs short against Aarsan Cricket Club. After a valiant batting effort to chase down their total, it was a heartbreaking end to a hard-fought battle.

โ€‹We secured a comprehensive 6-wicket victory over Agoveer Cricket Club in the III Division League 2026-27 at Kadmi Sports Ground. After restricting them to 201-9 in 50 overs, our batsmen made light work of the chase, reaching 202-4 in just 33.5 overs!

4th win of the season & our highest batting total ever in DCAT leagues ๐Ÿ’ฅ

A strong batting display as we posted 291 in first innings.
Ganesh led from the front with a fluent 75 (55), setting the tone early. added quick runs with 46 (32), while .n.jeevaa anchored the innings brilliantly with 85 (83). Contributions from (22) helped push the total to a competitive score.

A clinical bowling effort to defend the total, bundling out the opposition for 191 in 45 overs.n.jeevaa starred with the ball โ€“ 3 wickets for 30 runs, controlling the game beautifully. Strong support came from (2/29) and (2/48), while Sathish, Vetrivel and Thendapani chipped in with crucial wickets to seal the win.

Despite early wickets, Vetrivel (115 off 101) stood tall with a masterclass knock, anchoring the innings and keeping the scoreboard ticking. Contributions from (24 off 55) and (16 off 41) added stability before we finished with 213 all out in 48.3 overs.
With the ball, our bowlers gave it everything โœจn.jeevaa (3/40) led the attack with sharp turn and accuracy, supported by (2/36) who got the crucial wickets. In the end , we fell short of a wicket or few runs.

After an early setback, Vetrivel (74 off 69) and .n.jeevaa (53 off 81) stitched together a crucial partnership to steady the ship and shift the momentum in our favour. (46) added valuable runs in the middle, while (19* off 12) provided the late flourish to power us to a commanding 268/9 in 50 overs.

With the ball, the intensity continued ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Wickets fell at regular intervals thanks to disciplined spells from (3/35) and (2/35), backed by tight bowling from Sudhakar,.n.jeevaa and Vetrivel. The pressure kept building, and we eventually bowled Vel 11 Cricket Academy out for 192 in 42.5 overs.
