The Department of Youth Services and Sports Zone Kunzer successfully concluded the Inter School Zonal Level Volleyball and Kho Kho Tournament for Under 17 Girls at MS Takiya Batpora Kunzer. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from various institutions of Zone Kunzer and promoted the spirit of sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork among the young girls.
The chief guest on the occasion was Dr. Sumaira Rasool, a PhD Scholar from Batpora Kunzer. She interacted warmly with the participants and appreciated the efforts of the Department of Youth Services and Sports for organising such meaningful sporting events for girls. While addressing the students, she stressed the importance of staying away from drug abuse and adopting a healthy lifestyle through sports and physical activities.
Dr. Sumaira Rasool encouraged the young participants to actively take part in games and sports for maintaining physical fitness, mental strength, and emotional wellbeing. She highlighted that sports not only build confidence and leadership qualities but also help students remain focused and disciplined in life. She further advised the students to excel both in academics and sports and work hard towards achieving their goals with dedication and sincerity.
Overall Incharge Mr. GH Nabi Reshi warmly welcomed the chief guest and appreciated her gracious presence on the occasion. In his address, he expressed gratitude to Dr. Sumaira Rasool for sparing her valuable time and motivating the young athletes with her inspiring words. He stated that her message regarding drug free society and healthy living deeply encouraged the students and staff members present at the venue.
Mr. GH Nabi Reshi also appreciated the efforts of the officials, technical staff, field staff, and the host institution MS Takiya Batpora for their cooperation and support in making the tournament successful. He congratulated all participating teams for displaying excellent sportsmanship, discipline, and enthusiasm throughout the competition.
The event concluded on a positive and motivational note with appreciation from participants, staff members, and spectators.
