🎉🎂 WE ARE OFFICIALLY 4 YEARS OLD! 🥹❤️

Four years already! 😅🎉

We are so grateful for how far we have come, for every lesson, every blessing, every challenge we overcame, and every beautiful moment along the way. 🙏🏾❤️

It hasn’t always been easy, but looking back, we can only say GOD HAS BEEN GOOD! 🥹🙌🏾

Cheers to 4 years of growth, memories, laughter and so much more to come! 🥂🎉❤️

🌧️ It’s such a wet morning, and the rain is predicted to continue for almost the whole day. 😩☔️

If not for the squad paaa, I would have happily stayed home today. 😂 But they are getting used to our church routine, and now that Sunday school has also started again after the summer break, we have to show up! 🙌🏾❤️

Rain or shine, we move! 😂☔️⛪️

Motherhood means sometimes getting yourself and the whole squad ready and out the door when all you really want to do is stay under the duvet. 😅❤️

From the pot straight to the table, and the kids gave it their official approval. 👏🏾❤️

🫘🍌 OUR BEANS & PLANTAIN IS READY! 😋❤️

And we didn’t come to play with this one! 😂

We have our delicious beans served with fried plantain, and I added sardines and mackerel as well for some extra goodness. 🐟🍌🫘

Now comes the real test… will the kids approve? 👀😂

The first question they asked was, “Mama, what is this?” 😂 as they pointed straight at the beans.

I said, “That’s beans.” 🫘

They were so excited when I told them what we were having for lunch this morning, but I wasn't sure if they actually knew what beans were or if they were just excited about the sound of lunch. 🤣

Well… THEY ATE IT AND ENJOYED IT! 😀🙌🏾❤️

First beans introduction: SUCCESS! 🥳😂

One more Ghanaian meal added to their list! 🇬🇭❤️

Mawunyo Cobblah I think I have officially passed the discipline test! 😂🙌🏾

I actually fried all these plantains without taking even ONE bite until I was completely done.

It’s always discipline over temptation. Small wins, but we celebrate them! 💪🏾🔥

🍌🫘 TODAY’S LUNCH: BEANS & PLANTAIN! 😋

I noticed that I still had some beans from last year, and honestly, I realised I had never actually prepared beans for the kids before. 😂

So I thought, “Why not give it a try today and see how it goes?” 🤷🏾‍♀️

Funny enough, they asked me this morning what they would be having for lunch, and I said, “Beans and plantain.”

The joyful response that followed was “YEAHHHH!” 😂😂🙌🏾

Now, whether they actually know what beans are or they were simply excited because Mummy sounded excited about lunch, I honestly cannot tell. 🤣

But anyway… the beans are cooking, the plantain is ready, and we shall see how this experiment goes! 😂
