ਸਾਈਕਲਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਪਹਿਚਾਣ ਬਣਾ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ ਅੱਠ ਸਾਲਾ ਰਾਵੀ ਬਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਤੋਂ ਕੰਨਿਆ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਈਕਲ ਸਫਰ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਰੂਪਨਗਰ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਤੇ ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਾਈਕਲਿੰਗ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਇੰਦਰਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜੂ ਸਤਿਆਲ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਨਿੱਘਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਵਿਸਥਾਰਪੂਰਵਕ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਾਈਕਲਿੰਗ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਜਰਨਲ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਲੈਕਚਰਾਰ ਸੁਖਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇੰਨੀ ਛੋਟੀ ਉਮਰੇ ਇੰਨੇ ਸਖਤ ਸਾਈਕਲ ਸਫਰ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਹੌਸਲਾ ਰਾਵੀ ਬਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ, ਉੱਘੇ ਸਾਈਕਲਿਸਟ ਸਿਮਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਿਮਰਨਜੀਤ ਬਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਆਪ ਇਸ ਸਫਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਈਕਲ ਤੇ ਰਾਵੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸਿਮਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜੋਕੇ ਸ਼ੋਸਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਦੇ ਦੌਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਦੋਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਮਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਖੇਡਣ ਲਈ ਕੱਢਣਾ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਬਣ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਰਾਵੀ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਸਫਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਉਹ ਸਮੂਹ ਨਵੀਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਤੇ ਨਿਕਲੇ ਹਨ। ਆਪਣੇ ਇਸ ਸਾਈਕਲ ਸਫਰ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹਰਾ ਭਾਰਤ-ਸਾਫ ਭਾਰਤ, ਬੇਟੀ ਪੜਾਓ-ਬੇਟੀ ਬਚਾਓ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਟੋ ਹੈ। ਜਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਟਿਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਆਈ ਸੀ ਐਸੀ ਈ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੀ ਦੂਸਰੀ ਜਮਾਤ ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਇਸ ਸਫਰ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੜਾਈ ਵੀ ਫੋਨ ਉਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਵੱਡੀ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਜੱਜ ਬਣਨ ਦਾ ਸਪਨਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਮਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁਣ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਬਣਾ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ। 10 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਲਾਲ ਚੌਂਕ ਸ੍ਰੀਨਗਰ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਇਸ ਸਾਈਕਲ ਸਫਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਜ ਅਠਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਲਗਭੱਗ 400 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਦਾ ਸਫਰ ਤੈਅ ਕਰਕੇ ਅੱਜ ਰਾਵੀ ਬਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਰੂਪਨਗਰ ਅੱਪੜੀ ਸੀ। ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਸਾਈਕਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰਾਵੀ ਦਾ ਭਰਵਾਂ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਪੜਾਅ ਚੱਬੇਵਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਸਾਈਲਿਸਟ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਅਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ, ਰੁਪੇਸ਼ ਬਾਲੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਾਈਕਲਿੰਗ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਹੀਰਾ, ਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਸਿਮਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੱਕੜ, ਆਦਿ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
