📢 FRANCHISE STRUCTURE – SEASON 2
As a mark of respect for the franchises that supported HSL during its inaugural season, 6 Franchise Slots are Reserved for Existing Season 1 Franchises.
✅ Existing franchises will receive the first right to retain their franchise slot.
✅ Retention shall be subject to confirmation within the timeline prescribed by the HSL Management Committee.
✅ If any existing franchise decides not to continue, its slot shall become available for new applicants.
🏏 12–14 New Franchise Slots Are Expected To Be Available For Season 2, depending upon the final retention status of Season 1 franchises.

⚠️ IMPORTANT FRANCHISE ALLOCATION POLICY
All franchise approvals, district allocations, participation rights and franchise ownership decisions shall remain subject to the sole discretion of the HSL Management Committee.
If multiple applications are received from the same district:
✅ Priority may be given to early applicants.
✅ Applicants may be invited for meetings, presentations and technical discussions.
✅ Financial capability, long-term commitment, operational capacity and league interests may be considered.
✅ If required, HSL Management reserves the right to introduce a bidding process or any other allocation mechanism considered appropriate by the committee.
The decision of the HSL Management Committee shall be final and binding.
