Had the privilege of meeting the worthy Additional Registrar Cooperative Societies, Jammu, Sh. Bal Krishan Ji (Sr. JKAS), at his office and held a fruitful discussion on strengthening the cooperative movement and empowering farmers in rural areas.

We discussed how the Cooperative Department can play a greater role in creating farmer-centric cooperative societies, improving access to credit, inputs, modern agricultural practices, marketing facilities and better market linkages. Strong cooperatives can help our rural farmers move from individual challenges towards collective growth, value addition and sustainable livelihoods.

I believe that empowering farmers at the grassroots level is essential for building a self-reliant, prosperous and economically strong rural Jammu & Kashmir. Cooperative institutions, when strengthened with transparency and active participation of farmers, can become powerful engines of rural development.

Grateful to Sh. Bal Krishan Ji for his valuable time and constructive insights. Looking forward to working together towards the economic empowerment of our farming community.

I urge the Hon’ble LG Administration and District Administration Reasi to immediately sanction and construct a footbridge connecting Bagodass village. Students and local residents are facing serious difficulties due to the lack of safe connectivity. This is a basic public necessity, and the matter deserves urgent attention in the interest of the people.

Had the privilege of meeting Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and State President BJP J&K UT, Sh. Sat Paul Sharma Ji, at BJP Headquarters, Jammu today.

I also had the honour of congratulating Sat Sharma Ji on his election as a Member of the Governing Body of AIIMS Samba. This is a well-deserved recognition and a matter of pride for the entire BJP family of J&K.
