♟️ INTERNATIONAL CHESS DAY 2026 – A Grand Celebration 🤩
On the occasion of International Chess Day 2026, a Simultaneous Exhibition (Simul) was successfully conducted on 26th July 2026 by Mindcastle Chess Academy, featuring IM Nikhil Dixit.
The event was organised for academy students, with participants selected through a Qualification Tournament. A total of 20 students, including several USCF/FIDE rated players, qualified to compete, making the field strong and competitive.
During the simul, IM Nikhil Dixit single-handedly played against all 20 students simultaneously, showcasing exceptional skill, focus, and endurance. The event was conducted smoothly, with enthusiastic participation and high-quality games, providing a valuable learning experience for all the students involved.
Accordingly, IM Nikhil Dixit remained effectively undefeated and defeated all eligible participants in the simul.
Overall, the event was successfully conducted and served as an excellent platform to reinforce fair play, discipline, and high-level chess understanding, and was well appreciated by both students and parents.
