Loran Pro Volleyball League Season 3.0 Begins with Great Enthusiasm at Loran
Poonch, August 2: The Spartan Volleyball Club Loran successfully organised the Loran Pro Volleyball League Season 3.0 at the Government Higher Secondary School Loran in memory of Master Arif Hussain Malik. The tournament was organised by Mehmood Malik in collaboration with the Loran Youth, with the aim of promoting sportsmanship, unity, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle among the youth of District Poonch.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response from the local community, with more than 100 spectators gathering at the venue to cheer for the participating teams. The exciting matches created an energetic atmosphere and reflected the growing popularity of volleyball in the region.
The organisers acknowledged the continuous encouragement and support extended by the District Administration Poonch, District Police Poonch, Indian Army, Department of Youth Services & Sports, and Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council Unit Poonch for promoting sports and youth activities across the district. Their support has played a significant role in motivating young players to participate in positive and constructive activities.
Mr. Parvaiz Malik Afridi, President REK District Poonch, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. While addressing the gathering, he appreciated the efforts of the organisers for successfully conducting the tournament in memory of Master Arif Hussain Malik and praised their dedication towards youth development through sports. He assured his full support for such sporting initiatives in the future and encouraged the youth to actively participate in games and physical activities.
The programme was also attended by Lambardar of Loran Village as a distinguished guest. Mr. Abhay Raina attended as the Guest of Honour, while Mohd Umar, Talit Waseem, Ashaq Hussain, Waqar Ahmad, and Muzamal Ahmed were present as Special Guests. All the dignitaries appreciated the organisers for their sincere efforts in providing a positive platform for young volleyball players and motivating them to pursue sports with dedication and discipline.
The organisers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all the dignitaries, guests, players, volunteers, supporters, and spectators for making the opening day of the tournament a grand success. They reaffirmed their commitment to continue organising such sporting events to strengthen the spirit of unity, fitness, and youth empowerment in District Poonch.
The tournament is expected to witness exciting volleyball matches in the coming days, bringing together talented players from different areas and further promoting the culture of sports in the region.
