Goan karate players who brought laurels to the State of Goa at the 5th KIO National Sub Junior, Cadet & Junior National Karate Championship 2026, held from 3rd to 7th June 2026 at Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
Ms. Rithvi Kunkalekar 🥇 GOLD Medal in 12yrs 55+ Kumite
Ms. Shravya Mhalsekar 🥈 SILVER Medal in 13yrs Kata
Master Vihaan Naik 🥉BRONZE Medal in 12yrs -50 Kumite
Ms. Sonal Rane 🥉BRONZE Medal in 10yrs -35 Kumite
Ms. Virani Kadam 🥉BRONZE Medal in 9yrs -30 Kumite
Ms. Jiya Hadfadkar 🥉BRONZE Medal in 13yrs 60+ Kumite

TKAG felicitated the National Medallists by rewarding them with Rs 10,000/- (Gold medal), Rs 5,000/- (Silver medal) & Rs 3,000/- (Bronze medal) respectively at a function held at Terminal Banquets, Caculo Mall.

Instructor of the GOLD medalist Sensei Omkar Ghotne was also felicitated and rewarded with a cheque of Rs 10,000/- by TKAG

80 athletes (39 boys & 41 girls) + 5 coaches, selected by TKAG will compete at the 5th KIO National (Sub‑Junior, Cadet & Junior) Karate Championship from 4–7 June 2026.

Sensei A. SHAKTIVEL, being felicitated for being the first Goan to earn the prestigious 'WKF Judge' Badge!
He is now appointed as the ‘REFEREE COMMISSION MEMBER’ by KIO.
