Swalpa Susegad: Edition 1 will have the team from SAPA Bakery taking over the Padaria kitchen for two whole days.

From signature bakes to new creations being crafted especially for Goa, Chef Dina Weber will be bringing the best of her Mysuru bakery to our sunshine state.

GOAN SAUSAGE SHAKSHUKA

At our café, it doesn’t get more Goan than this dish. Piquant choris forms the base, while two baked eggs with gooey yolks sit atop it, providing just the right amount of balance to this beauty.

On the side, we serve two slices of toast, perfect for mopping up every last mouthful!

We love it when our regulars bring their favourite people into the Padaria fold 💛

Anita and Rohina came by this week with Miss Mia, Anita’s sweet little Yorkie 🦴

While this was Rohina’s first visit, her friend Anita has been a regular at our cafe for several years now. “The breads are fantastic, so I end up trying a different sandwich every time I visit. My current favourite is the Smoked Duck & Fig.”

She adds, “We’ve come all the way from Candolim. I wanted Rohina to see it and try the food for herself.”

Rohina’s verdict? “I love the ambience. It reminds me of the cafés of Europe, which I do miss since coming to Goa.”

We even had fussy eater Mia’s vote — she thoroughly enjoyed bits and pieces of our Ham & Cheese Sandwich 🥪

There’s something magical about experiencing the Goan monsoon from within our café. The pattering of raindrops, the smell of freshly baked treats, a mug of hot coffee that you can wrap your hands around… ☕️
