A renowned A-Grade Sitarist and senior disciple of Sri B. Shamsunder, he is a recipient of the Telangana State Best Teacher Award and Kalabhushan Puraskar. He currently serves as Principal, Sri Thyagaraja Government College of Music and Dance, Hyderabad.

A 2007-batch Group I officer, Smt. Vasundhara garu currently serves as Deputy Director, Treasury, Government of Telangana. She has also made significant contributions to the fields of arts, culture and education, including her tenure as Secretary of the Telangana Sangeet Nataka Akademi, where she curated and organised several notable music, dance and theatre festivals.
