L. R. Tersi Memorial Cricket Coaching Scheme (started for School Boys in 1941) was the first Cricket Coaching Scheme in India wherein mass Coaching was imparted to School Boys on a free of cost basis.

The P. J. Hindu Gymkhana Cricket Department has been engaging in eminent Coaches such as H.J.VAJIFDAR, VINOO MANKAD, L. B. KENNY, VASANT AMLADI, VASU PARANJPE, EKNATH SOLKAR, R.V.ACHAREKAR, VIDYA PARADKAR, KIRAN ASHAR, UMESH KULKARNI, and SHARAD HAZARE under this coaching scheme.

Many of the boys have gone on to play first class cricket for Mumbai and in some cases they have even gone on to play for the Nation.

The LR Tersee Nets - January 2024 now has an OPEN Womens category too.

The iconic LR Tersi cricket camp makes a triumphant return as P J Hindu Gymkhana, in collaboration with Pro World Talent Cricket Academy, proudly announces the organization of a free cricket coaching camp catering to U-14, U-16 and U-19 age groups for Boys and Open age category for Women.

Selection trials are scheduled to take place from the 8th to the 11th of January, 2024 at P.J Hindu Gymkhana, providing aspiring cricketers with an opportunity to showcase their skills.

The LR Tersi free cricket coaching camp is set to commence on the 16th of January 2024, hosted at the prestigious P J Hindu Gymkhana. Mr. Jatin Paranjape (Former India selector and player) with his wealth of experience and expertise, will guide and inspire the young talents throughout the coaching camp. His mentorship promises to be a transformative experience for the participants, imparting valuable insights.

One of the highlights of this initiative is that selected students will have the unique opportunity to represent P J Hindu Gymkhana in matches affiliated with the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA).

P J Hindu Gymkhana and Pro World Talent Cricket Academy are thrilled to revive the historic LR Tersi cricket camp and contribute to the development of cricket at the grassroots level.
