The third event for the workbook was a relaxed and cozy discussion and book signing!

And yet another full house – I’m continuing to feel blessed with the love and support of my dear ones.

“Be your own BFF” continues to have encouraging and positive reviews – from my friends and well-wishers… my community, my tribe, my people who made the effort to be there for me and showed up to celebrate my success.

The discussion questions were well articulated by my dear friend Tan Boon Han, who is a proficient and witty Toastmaster! And as usual, the audience came up with inquisitive questions and profound sharing and observations.

Having done 3 sessions now, I believe I'm better equipped to video shoot an online version that I can share with all of you soon!

I will always be grateful for everyone’s love and encouragement. Again, I’m so thrilled to keep adding these wonderful memories in my heart…

In a lot of ways, it was Book Launch 2.0! Brimming with pride and beaming with fulfillment all the way!

Another full house – I’m so overwhelmed with gratitude for the presence of my near and dear ones, as they came with blessings and support. The optimistic feedback I received is the best reward I could hope for…

My workbook “Be your own BFF” is garnering strong and positive reviews – from my friends and well-wishers… my community, my tribe, my people who made the effort to be there for me and showed up to celebrate my success.

Our lovely talk moderator Mansi Maheshwari who is super supportive, managed to beautifully capture the essence of the process and benefits of the workbook. The interesting audience questions also added depth, insight and perspective to the discussion.

The joy of conducting these sessions is unparalleled. It is also the best way to have a constructive discussion around the topics of journaling, self-work and being your own best friend.

I am planning another Book Signing event on 4th May. If you’re in Singapore and haven’t attended the session yet, please PM me if you’d like to come!

One of the most important days of my life! My workbook “Be your own BFF” was released in a private Book Launch – amongst my friends and well-wishers… my community, my tribe and my people who made the effort to be there for me and showed up to celebrate my success 🙌

Of course, I missed a lot of friends due to holiday and work travel, illness, previous commitments, Holi celebrations, and Mr. Jaishankar’s address. I’m hoping some of them can join in the subsequent Book Signing events that will happen over the course of the next few months!

My talk moderator Roop Chawla has been a friend for almost 23 years and was brilliant in capturing my candid answers at the Launch discussion. The interesting audience questions also added depth, insight and perspective to the discussion.

I was touched by people’s generosity and support when they gave me the precious present of their presence! I will always be grateful for everyone’s support, blessings and love ❤️

Sharing some pictures that I have with my guests, and these will be etched in my memory forever. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get a few pics with some of my friends 🙏

Overall, it was a very emotional experience for me and an evening to remember for the rest of my life…

And it's a wrap!!!

Feeling fulfilled to have completed the "29 Days of Feb Journaling Challenge." The participants have been exemplary in their dedication to do the Journaling! So proud of everyone, the ones who completed, the ones who couldn't and the ones who tried!

Extremely heartened by the feedback I received. You all will always be "My first family" of Journaling. I shall remain in gratitude always 🙏

Learning to FLOW again after being stuck for over a month and a half!

Writing a book was never going to be a smooth ride. I knew it getting in. And yet I made a commitment. However, there are times when I just can’t pull myself enough to sit down and write. I keep framing lines in my head. I feel terrible – I am a writer who DOES NOT write regularly. And the guilt and accountability bring me back to the keyboard!

There are good days and there are horrible days. This time around – the break was too long… the kids had school holidays… my home needed attention – painting, re-doing some stuff, furniture organizing, designing a picture gallery wall and so on! I had intended to take a 2 week break…

And then it spilled over on to the 3rd week… and then onto the 4th!

And then, my full-time domestic helper left to go back to her family in India!

And I struggled with the domestic chores.

I’m not trying to sound privileged or entitled, but here in Asia, we just get used to the helpers executing our domestic chores! So the next 2 weeks was a flurry of activity to set-up new processes and re-work on some of the existing ones.

I PROMISED myself that this week – come what may – I will get back to the writing. And so I did! What joy to be able to do something that you enjoy most…

Here’s a picture of my happy zone. Long-hand writing, typing out notes on my Mac, flow-mapping on a chart with colored pens and building and refining frameworks for my book! Thankfully, I’m back on track and trying to catch up on lost time… typing away fast and furious! And thankful for being able to return to my zen zone!
