A pre workout warm-up drill to strengthen/mobilize the scapula and rotator cuff muscles.
The rotator cuff are a group of smaller stabilizer muscles located in the shoulders. They are directly responsible for ensuring that the shoulder joint functions in a healthy manner during exercises/ general movements involving the shoulders.
Try this warm up routine before any push exercise. If you don't have a band, you can imitate the same exercises with a dumbell/kettlebell or at the cable machine using attachments.
