LABBAYK YABNA ZAHRA

LABBAYK YABNA ZAHRA “Where is the One who would destroy oppression and tyranny of the oppressors?” (Dua-e-Nudba) We face Tyranny. We face Oppression. We are being given a bad label.

However, we do not rise against it. When we are told, “The world is full of oppression”, we sigh and say, “YES, this will continue until the Imam (atf) returns.” When Oppression reaches its pinnacle, when darkness spreads across the land, when our fate is left upon the tyrants, when every cubit of the land is soaked in blood, when the Pharaohs once again rule the earth, we sigh, “YES, this will co

ntinue until the Imam (atf) returns.”
WHAT? Do we think the Imam (atf) will return while we are still unprepared and unarmed against Evil and that he calls for help but is not responded with? Don’t we know what happened with his (atf) fathers (the A’immah [as])? They were amongst their own people and called them secretly and openly, but the people did not respond to their calls. Were the frontiers of Islam meant to be protected only until the minor occultation of Imam Mahdi (atf)? Are the boundaries of this Message to be left open today for the oppressors and the enemies of Islam? Are we creating mischief? Are we disobedient to Allah? Are we committing sins? Are we running away from fighting the Enemies of Islam? Are we silent upon Injustice? Are we careless and non-pious? Do we possess talks without actions? Do we give lame excuses for refraining from our religious duties and responsibilities? One who acts upon "Labbayk Yabna Zahra" should ask these questions to himself.
