Sometimes the most useful question after a disappointing phase isn’t:
“Why isn’t this working?”
It is:
“What is this phase showing me that I wasn’t looking at before?”
Maybe the approach needs changing.
Maybe the timing isn’t right.
Maybe the expectation was unrealistic.
Maybe there is something you need to learn before the next step.
There is a lot of wisdom in being able to look at something honestly without immediately making it personal.
Not everything that doesn’t work is a sign to quit.
And not everything that works is proof that you’re on the right path.
Sometimes you simply need enough distance to see clearly.
Pause. Observe. Learn. Then decide.
