Kegel Exercises: An Invisible workout

Pregnancy puts extra pressure on your pelvic floor muscles. Want to know a simple exercise that supports your bladder, uterus, and recovery after birth? Let’s talk about Kegels.

Kegel exercises strengthen the pelvic floor, helping prevent urine leakage, easing labor, and speeding postpartum healing. They’re safe, quick, and can be done anywhere.

Here’s how to practise: Imagine stopping the flow of urine. Gently squeeze those muscles, hold for 5 seconds, then relax. Repeat 10 times. Do this 2–3 times a day.

Consult your Doctor first. Practice yoga with a certified Yoga Instructor.

Save this reel and start practicing daily for a healthier pregnancy journey.

Active Mantra Meditation

The most practiced form of exercise during pregnancy is walking. Let’s turn that simple walk into a powerful meditation.

As you walk—whether outside or even in one room—chant Om or any mantra you love.
Focus only on the mantra, not the scenery.
You can walk slowly, chanting one Om with each step, or move at your own pace chanting the mantra.
Chant aloud or mentally—whatever feels natural.
Experiment and practise what feels most comfortable.

This Active Mantra Meditation transforms everyday walking into a calming and joyful practice. Try it daily to feel grounded, connected, and at peace during pregnancy.

Calm. Healthy. Joyful. That’s the pregnancy you deserve.

Benefits of Yogic Practices Before Conception

Yogic practices before conception help by reducing stress, balancing hormones, improving reproductive health, and preparing the body and mind for pregnancy.
They create a nurturing environment that supports fertility for both partners.

🌱 Key Benefits of Yogic Practices Before Conception
• Stress Reduction
o Stress is one of the biggest factors affecting fertility. Yoga activates the parasympathetic nervous system, lowering cortisol and anxiety levels.
o Practices like Pranayama (breathwork) and Yoga Nidra calm the mind and reduce emotional turbulence.

• Hormonal Balance
o Certain asanas stimulate the endocrine system, helping regulate hormones essential for ovulation and s***m health.
o Balancing hormones also improves menstrual regularity and reproductive cycles.

• Improved Circulation to Reproductive Organs
o Poses such as Baddha Konasana (Butterfly Pose) and Setu Bandhasana (Bridge Pose) enhance blood flow to the pelvic region.
o Better circulation nourishes the ovaries, uterus, and te**es, creating optimal conditions for conception.

• Strengthening Pelvic and Core Muscles
o Gentle strengthening of pelvic muscles supports reproductive organs and prepares the body for pregnancy.
o This also reduces risks of complications later during gestation.

• Detoxification and Energy Flow
o Twisting poses and mindful breathing help detoxify the body, improving overall vitality.
o Yogic philosophy emphasizes prana (life force), ensuring energy flows freely through the body.

• Emotional Readiness
o Yoga fosters mindfulness and emotional stability, helping couples approach conception with positivity and patience.
o Meditation and affirmations reduce guilt, fear, or anxiety often associated with fertility challenges.
