An exciting football final match between the players of SAI Veterans and Calangute Veterans took place in Morjim Village Playground.
The match was quite intense as both the teams has shown some excellent skill with the ball in all their earlier matches before finals..
A brace by Bibiano Fernandes and a goal by Shailesh Miskin helped SAI Veterans to secure the Top position of 1st Morjim Veterans Cup 2022 .
The exhilarating match was attended by Shri Satish Shetgaonkar ZP Member Morjim, Smt.Surekha Shetgaonkar Sarpanch Morjim, Shri Subodh Mahale Sarpanch Mopa, Rev.Fr Francis Fernandes Parish Priest Morjim, Shri Fatu Shetgaonkar Panch Member Morjim, Shri Vijay Mopkar Panch Member Mopa, Shri Arun Shetgaonkar and Shri Clement Dsouza.

At the end of the event, the chief guest Shri Satish Shetgaonkar Smt Surekha Shetgaonkar Shri Subodh Mahale and Rev Fr. Francis delivered a speech signifying the importance of arranging tournaments for Veterans and helping each of them to be fit and active. All the guest also applauded the sincere efforts taken by Shri Bharat Morje and his team in organising such beautiful floodlight tournament for the first time in Morjim Village.

We moved into the second round of All Goa Veteran Football Tournament organised by Batora United Curtorim at St. Alex Church ground Curtorim .....Benit D'souza scored an equaliser during the regular time....and then in Tie breaker ...Gilbert Ritesh Benit Julious and Anant(Dada) were on target.....Bharat Morje managed to save one goal....
