Congratulations to my student Aarav Saish Amonkar for an absolutely fabulous performance in the 2nd Namma Bengaluru International Open Grandmaster Tournament. To score 6 points and 3.5 with titled players is impressive and i know you will continue to shine bright. The hardwork and sincerity is paying off so lets keep that going.

Hearty congratulations to Nakshatra Gumudavelly for finishing as Runner up in the Karnataka State under 7 girls championship. She finished 6/7 and only lost one game to the eventual champion of the tournament..With this she qualifies for National Under 7 and will represent Karnataka.. I hope you can continue your hardwork and let’s shift our focus to the upcoming nationals..

In other news Delhi Public school East Bangalore finished as runners up in the just concluded National School team Championship held in Pondicherry..
2 students of mine Mast. Aarav Amonkar and Mast. Karthik Iyer were members of the team who played on board 1 and 2 respectively..

Both of them played exceptionally well and Aarav also won the individual gold on Board 1 with a fantastic 8.5/9 whilst increasing about 23 elo points..
Karthik Iyer scored 6/9 on board 2 and increased a whopping 70 elo rating points.
Congrats to all other team members as well as wish them success for the future too.
