Ravindra Jadeja is a left-arm orthodox spinner who is known for his accuracy, consistency, and ability to maintain pressure on batsmen. Jadeja’s bowling is often more about control and economy than attacking for wickets, especially in Test matches. He bowls at a quick pace for a spinner, keeping a tight line and length, which often forces batsmen into mistakes. In Indian conditions, where pitches assist spin, Jadeja becomes particularly lethal, with his ability to exploit the surface’s bounce and turn. As a batsman, Jadeja has developed into a solid middle-order player capable of playing important knocks under pressure. He can accelerate when needed and has become a reliable lower-order batsman, often stepping up in crucial moments. Ravichandran Ashwin, on the other hand, is a more traditional off-spinner who is known for his variety and tactical acumen.
