Latpanchor United Crowned Champions in Barbot, Pabringtar..

The Independence Day Veterans Football Tournament, organized by the Barbot Football Committee and held at the Pabringtar, Barbot Football Ground, concluded with Latpanchor United Football Club being crowned the 2026 Champions.

In the final match against Pemling Veterans, Latpanchor United secured a convincing 3–0 victory, lifting the beautiful trophy along with a cash prize of ₹30,000.

Latpanchor United played a total of four matches from Pool A and remained unbeaten throughout the tournament, conceding not a single goal.

The team also dominated the individual awards:

* 🏆 Player of the Season: Binod Bantawa
* ⚽ Highest Goal Scorer: Deep Chhetri – 12 goals
* 🛡️ Best Defender: Bobby Thapa
* ⭐ Best Player of the Final: Subash Rai ( #16)
* 🧤 Best Goalkeeper: Sabir S***a

Latpanchor United successfully claimed almost all the major individual awards of the tournament.

Meanwhile, Pemling Veterans were awarded the title of the Most Disciplined Team of the tournament.

Special appreciation goes to the Barbot Pabringtार Football Committee for their excellent management and organization of the tournament.

“Manjit 11 Crowned Champions in Veterans Tournament”

Manjit 11 emerged victorious in the Veterans Tournament held at Shaktigarh, Siliguri. The three-day tournament concluded with a highly thrilling final match between Manjit 11 and Dooars Rhino. Binod Bantawa scored the opening goal to give Manjit 11 the lead, but shortly after, a player from Rhino equalized, bringing the game level. In the end, Manjit 11 secured victory in the tie-breaker and successfully became the champions of the Veterans Tournament.

Proud moment once again! ⭐ Our very own Crispin Chettri has been reappointed as the HEAD COACH of the Indian women’s national football team. 🙌👏🇮🇳

Crispin Chettri and the squad are currently in Nairobi, Kenya, for the FIFA Women’s Series 2026. The team will kick off their campaign on April 11, 2026, at Nyayo National Stadium.
