New Rule — Good Step or Needs a Rethink?

Bijbehara Cricket Association has made it mandatory for every participating team to include at least one Under-19 and one Under-23 player in the Playing XI.

The idea behind this rule is certainly worth appreciating, as it can provide young cricketers with valuable exposure and help them gain experience alongside senior players.

However, the question is: Should such a rule be mandatory, or should teams have the flexibility to choose their Playing XI based on performance and match conditions?

A performance that speaks for itself.

In the match between Kuhru Sports Jr. and Sunrisers Kuhru, Omer Javid played a match-winning knock of 58 runs off just 30 balls and also took 2 wickets. For his outstanding all-round performance, he was deservedly Man of the Match.
