MOKSHA in Odissi symbolizes liberation—the final spiritual journey where movement transcends form and the soul seeks union with the divine. This piece is choreographed by Padmabibhushan Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra and has been given a renewed expression through newly recorded music by Sri Rakesh Choudhury , offering the piece a fresh and contemporary soul.
Mardala has been played by Sri Soumya Ranjan Nayak & the soulful vocal rendition is by Suparno Bhowmick .

Guru Purnima is a sacred occasion dedicated to expressing our deepest gratitude to the Gurus who illuminate our lives with wisdom, knowledge, and values.
On this auspicious day, SAARANGA Institute of Odissi Dance humbly pays tribute to our revered Gurus and the timeless Guru–Shishya Parampara, which continues to inspire our artistic journey.
Tomorrow evening, the SAARANGA family will come together to offer prayers, floral tributes, and Guru Vandana, celebrating the eternal bond between Guru and disciple through devotion and the classical art of Odissi.

Since 2016, Sukarna Mazumder has been training exclusively under the guidance of Sourav Samanta . Watching her grow as an Odissi dancer over the years has been a truly rewarding journey for us.
Recently she performed Durga Dhyana Stuti, the timeless choreography of Padma Vibhushan Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra at Bhanja Kala Mandap, Bhubaneswar.
