Anglo Saxons FC Kolkata was originally established in the early 1980s by a passionate group of Anglo-Indian footballers united by their love for

the game. Known for fielding talented and experienced players, Anglo Saxons FC became a respected name in local football circles. However, in 1998, the club went inactive, leaving behind a legacy that endured in the memories of fans and players alike. Now, after 27 years, Anglo Saxons FC Kolkata has been revived — stronger, more focused, and driven by a renewed commitment to excellence. This revival marks more than just a return to the pitch; it is a celebration of the club’s proud heritage and a bold step into the future. Tomorrow, 7th April 2026, the Kolkata Saxons Junior U17 squad will play their opening match vs the Calcutta Parsee Club Junior Squad at 6:00 PM.

This marks a significant milestone, as it is the first time our junior team will be competing on such a prestigious stage and in a well known club in Kolkata.

Let’s come together to show our love and support and wish our boys the very best for the game!
