NORTHERN REDS BEATS AHCC ARATH IN A SENSATIONAL MATCH.

Northern Reds batting first managed to score only 98 runs in the first innings of the match which seemed to be a piece of cake for AHCC ARATH.

AHCC ARATH with the likes of Imtiyaz Lefty, Dardish Goni , Gowhar Rashid and other big names could manage to score only 70 runs and lost the match with 29 runs.

Ishfaq Malla took 5 important wickets and gave away just 16 runs in his spell of 4 overs and was declared as player of the match. Mehran Lone was awarded the game changer award.

Loot and scams in the name of tournaments goes unchecked in Kashmir. Sports pages, Local Administrations mute spectators.

During the recent times local cricket in Kashmir has added glamour and money to it because of the intense promotion over social media circles. But with money and glamour come scam scams in the name of tournaments. One such example is the Dungdara Super League played at Dungdara Kreeri. The 9th edition was being played in year 2023 where one of the teams reached the finals of the tournament while as the other semi final was not played at all. The management if the tournament kept giving lame excuses about the same and kept delaying the tournament semifinals since June 2023.
Now its July 2024 and Dungdara Super League 10th edition has already been started. This is an open loot as a lot of money is involved which has been spent by clubs in terms of Tournament fee, team expenditures and player fee. This has become a norm among many organisers in Kashmir and has become an easy way to mint a huge amounts of money from people which goes un noticed.
We appeal, the sports pages of Kashmir valley to highlight the issue with aggression as they are duty bound to do so. Being sports promoters and sports loving people, the owners, players and teams should stop participating in the tournament immediately and make the organisers and the promotors of such tournaments accountable.
We are giving a week’s time to the organisers to resolve the issue or a police complaint shall also follow shortly.

BCF KASHMIR CUP 2023

During the ongoing Baramulla cricket forum bcf Kashmir cup Northern Reds was comprehensively defeated by BCC Reds in the Quarter Final Match of the tournament.
Northern Reds accepts the defeat and compliments BCC reds for not allowing our team to be anywhere near the victory during the whole match. We wish them good luck for the rest of the tournament.
Last but not the least we would like to thank and appreciate the Baramulla cricket forum bcf for organising such beautiful tournaments with the highest quality of cricket being provided to the cricketers. We also understand that maintaining the wicket of such quality and excellent management of the events is not every one’s cup of tea. We congratulate the whole management and all the people behind the Baramulla cricket forum bcf for service they are providing to bring quality cricket to North Kashmir.

KASHMIR CUP BARAMULLA.

Northern Reds beat Irfan Sanitary Club (previously Zaingeer Reds) by 10 wickets in ongoing Kashmir Cup to secure their position in quarter finals of Kashmir Cup.
Mohsin Ramzan was declared as Game changer and also won the super sixes award while as Tawseef Ramzan and Sajad Ganaie were declared as best fielder and Man of the Match for this match.

A NOTE OF THANKS & APPRECIATION.

Northern Reds were beaten by HCC Reds in the quarter finals of Behrampora Baramullah cup. We congratulate HCC Reds and wish them best of luck throughout the tournament.
We would specially like to thank the lovely people of Behrampora who supported us unconditionally and showed their love to each one of us throughout the tournament. During the tournament we never felt like we were playing away from home. The love and support of the people of Behrampora is surely going to pull us into that stadium again.
We would also like to thank the management of the tournament for organising such a wonderful tournament and maintaining the over all spirit of the game throughout the whole time.
Last but not the least we thank the whole team of Global News Network for the exceptional work they are doing in the field of sports by bringing the real time scenes to the sports loving viewers. The commentators as well as the camera crew has been doing an excellent job in bringing the area to the local sports arena of Kashmir through their social media handles.
