VOTE OF THANKS

Respected Coaches, Managers, Players, Officials, and Members of the Organising Committee,

It is my honour and privilege to propose the Vote of Thanks on behalf of the Taekwondo family and the Department of Youth Services and Sports, J&K, at the successfully conducted 69th School National Games 2025 – Taekwondo Event.

First and foremost, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) for entrusting us with the responsibility of hosting this prestigious event. Your guidance and constant support have played a vital role in ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of these championships.

My sincere thanks to the Organising Committee—Director General, Joint Director, and Deputy Director—whose tireless efforts, planning, and coordination made this event seamless from start to finish. Every department—administration, logistics, venue management, and hospitality—worked with dedication and efficiency.

A special word of appreciation to all Technical Officials, Referees, and Technical Committee Members. Your fairness, discipline, and professionalism ensured that the matches were conducted with integrity and sportsmanship.

To all the Coaches and Managers, thank you for preparing and motivating your young athletes and for maintaining discipline throughout the event. Your commitment is truly commendable.

To our Players, you are the heart of this tournament. Your hard work, spirit, and determination have made these Games memorable. Win or lose, each one of you has displayed true sportsmanship and the spirit of Taekwondo.

I also extend gratitude to our Medical Team, Security Personnel, Volunteers, and Support Staff who worked behind the scenes to ensure safety, comfort, and smooth functioning every single day.

Finally, a heartfelt thanks to everyone present here today for your cooperation, support, and encouragement. Together, you all made this event a grand success.

Once again, thank you all, and we look forward to seeing you in future championships.

Today, I formally align myself with India Taekwondo, under the esteemed leadership of President Shri Namdev Shirgaonker. Engaging in a productive discourse on the critical facets of Taekwondo, I am deeply impressed by India Taekwondo's rapid ascent to prominence and accolades in the realm of Indian Taekwondo history. It is with great enthusiasm that I commit to supporting athletes across J&K and India in their pursuit of representing our nation at the Olympic Games. Together, let us diligently collaborate to transform this shared aspiration into a tangible reality
