𝑺𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒋𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒚𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒏 𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒆𝒕𝒍𝒚, 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒂 𝒔𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒇.

Mine began with a belief that 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒘𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒄𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒑𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆, 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒔.

With a grateful heart and vision-filled mind, today, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been appointed as the 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥 of the 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 (WEC) at the 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚 (TOAI).

This role is an honour—but more than that, it feels like a continuation of the work I’ve always believed in.

Over the years, through 𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑, 𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈, and 𝒄𝒐𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈, I’ve seen how 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒇𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆, 𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒈𝒖𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆, and a 𝒔𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒏𝒆𝒕𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌 can transform not just businesses, but lives.

As Convener, my intent is simple:
to create spaces where women feel heard, supported, skilled, and inspired—to grow businesses that are not just successful, but meaningful.

I look forward to learning, collaborating, and contributing alongside an incredible fraternity of professionals—working together to strengthen our industry by empowering its women.

Every Dussehra, we gather to witness the burning of 𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗮’𝘀 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗴𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝟭𝟬 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 — a grand spectacle symbolizing the eternal triumph of good over evil.

“Ravana’s ten heads weren’t just about mythology. They’re the 𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 — ego, anger, greed, jealousy… sound familiar?” 💭

The 10 heads also represent his extraordinary intellect 🧠 and deep knowledge making him a great scholar.

When we burn his effigy, it isn’t merely an act of tradition — it’s a call for introspection. 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝘄𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 — 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻. 💫

Every time we dissolve -
anger with compassion,
ego with humility,
fear with faith
— we move closer to r𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗮 — our truest, most radiant, and unshakable self. 🌺

This Dussehra, let’s go beyond celebration.

Six years ago, yoga wasn’t a daily ritual for me — it was something I did when I had time.
𝑩𝒖𝒕 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒂 𝒘𝒂𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒍𝒚 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔. 🌊

Somewhere between navigating personal storms, financial uncertainty 💸, health scares in the family 🏥, and emotional lows in relationships 💔…
I found myself on my yoga mat more often.

Not out of discipline at first, but out of desperation to find a quiet place within the chaos.

And slowly, 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒃𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒇𝒕. 🌱

𝑴𝒚 𝒎𝒂𝒕 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒎𝒚 𝒔𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒓𝒚.
𝑴𝒚 𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒎𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒓. 🧘‍♀️
𝑴𝒚 𝒎𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒎𝒚 𝒎𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏. ✨

Through regular practice over the last 6 years, 𝒚𝒐𝒈𝒂 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒎𝒚 𝒃𝒐𝒅𝒚, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒂𝒍𝒔𝒐 𝒎𝒚 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅, 𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒍, & 𝒑𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆. 💫

It’s helped me stay grounded during the highs and resilient during the lows.

It has healed me, strengthened me, and helped me reconnect with 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝑰 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒍𝒚 𝒂𝒎. 🙏

The Tuesday terror attack in Pahalgam that killed 26 innocent people—mostly men, tourists just like us—has left a deep, painful ache. They weren’t soldiers. They weren’t combatants. They were just people… possibly celebrating life, exploring beauty, taking a break from routine.

In a matter of minutes,
Lives ended.
Dreams shattered.
Families left devastated.

I was right there, with family, exactly 3 years ago, same date... Rejoicing the beauty of this wonderful place, the pride of India, with utmost comfort, ease and feeling of security, a complete contrast to how I, and many others feel in current situation.

Violence like this doesn’t just take lives—it tears through our collective soul.

And today, as a citizen, a wife, a mother, a daughter, a human being, I am in deep mourning.

To the families who have lost their loved ones—I stand with you. We all do.
