the weather is still a bit dodgy up in the mountains but there's some climbing to be done lower in the valley if anybody is thinking of coming up. try the IMF forest in Aleo or the blocs around the crags in Aleo. old Manali forest should be dryish too.
i've had to leave the country due to the visa bastards but go find narayan dev at my office in vashisht (High Himalayan Adventure) or keshu/ravi in old manali to get some good local info. the boys will show you around no problem. and if anyone wants some more info get in touch on here. enjoy. dave

Good weather in the valley at the moment. Plenty of opportunity to get out and finish those projects. Come on climbers, get yourselves here!!!!!

Small area down at Aleo. Developed a few years ago by the Indian Mountaineering Federation and a couple of Italian guys. The routes are a little marginal and the bolting is interesting. But they are worth doing still if you're here.

Beautiful area 20 minutes from Vashisht. The blocs are in a private orchard so care is needed with any access and if anyone comes and tells you to clear off, please do. Otherwise, enjoy the problems.
