Parents and students, there is a major clarification regarding the passing criteria for this academic year.
CBSE has withdrawn the proposed requirement of securing 33% separately in each subject. Instead, they are retaining the existing assessment system! 💯
🔍 What this means for you:
* Combined Marks: The passing criteria will continue to look at your Theory + Internal Assessment marks TOGETHER.
* No Separate Cut-offs: The proposed separate 33% subject-wise threshold will NOT be implemented for 2026–27.
* No Change in Exams: The question paper design and assessment patterns remain exactly the same.
While this brings a sigh of relief, let’s talk about the bigger picture. 👇
🚀 Look Beyond the Passing Marks!
Passing should never be the final goal. Class 10 is your foundation. It’s the perfect time to build:
* 🧠 Strong conceptual clarity
* 🗓️ Consistent study habits
* 🎯 Real subject confidence
Whether you are aiming for Science, Commerce, Humanities, or vocational paths, great futures are built on informed choices, not just chasing a minimum score.
⚠️ A quick reminder: Always rely on official CBSE circulars rather than social media rumors!
