International ITF Taekwon-Do Events Successfully Held in Gorakhpur, 🇮🇳 India

From 3rd to 5th July 2026, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India 🇮🇳 proudly hosted two prestigious international ITF Taekwon-Do events: the ITF President's Seminar and the 55th International Qualifying Umpire Course (QIUC). The three-day programme brought together Taekwon-Do enthusiasts and officials from India 🇮🇳, Nepal 🇳🇵, Sri Lanka 🇱🇰, and Malaysia 🇲🇾, making it a truly memorable international gathering.

The ITF President's Seminar was conducted by Grandmaster Paul Weiler, President of the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF), who shared his invaluable knowledge and vision for the future of ITF Taekwon-Do.

The 55th QIUC was conducted by Grandmaster Abelardo Rafael Benzaquen of Argentina 🇦🇷, Chairman of the ITF Umpire Committee. His expert guidance and extensive experience provided participants with high-level technical and officiating education.

The event was further enriched by the presence of Grandmaster Najmi Abdullah from Malaysia 🇲🇾, who remained with the participants throughout the programme, encouraging practitioners and contributing to the success of the event.

The programme was efficiently organised by the All India ITF Taekwon-Do Association (Regd.). The Association's Secretary, Sabum Santosh Kumar Yadav, and President, Prof. Vijay Chahal, were present throughout the event, ensuring its smooth and successful ex*****on.

The three-day programme was a tremendous success, strengthening international friendship, technical excellence, and the spirit of ITF Taekwon-Do. Participants expressed their appreciation for the outstanding organisation and eagerly look forward to more international ITF events being hosted in India in the future.
