🥌 4th National Floor Curling Championship 2026 – A Grand Success! 🇮🇳

Curling Federation of India extends its heartfelt congratulations to all the players, coaches, officials, and participating State/UT Associations for making the 4th National Floor Curling Championship 2026, held at Nandyala, Andhra Pradesh from 06–09 June 2026, a tremendous success.

A special note of gratitude to the Andhra Pradesh Curling Association for hosting this prestigious championship with outstanding hospitality and excellent arrangements.

We also sincerely thank all the volunteers, officials, supporters, and every stakeholder whose dedication and hard work ensured the smooth conduct of the event. Your active participation and commitment made this championship truly memorable.

The 4th National Floor Curling Championship, being organized at Nandyala, Andhra Pradesh from 6–9 June 2026, is progressing successfully with tremendous enthusiasm and participation from athletes representing different states across India.

The championship venue is buzzing with energy as players showcase their skills, determination, and sportsmanship on the floor curling sheet. The level of competition has been impressive, and it is encouraging to witness the growing popularity of Floor Curling among athletes of all age groups.

Curling Federation of India mourns the sad demise of Raja Randhir Singh ji, one of the most respected and influential personalities in the world of sports administration.

An accomplished Olympian, Arjuna Awardee, and the first Indian to hold the office of President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), he made unparalleled contributions towards the promotion and development of sports in India and across the Asian continent. His dedication, wisdom, and leadership greatly strengthened the Olympic movement and inspired countless administrators and athletes alike.

His invaluable service to sports and his enduring legacy will forever remain a source of inspiration for future generations.

We convey our sincere condolences to his bereaved family, loved ones, and the entire sporting community.

May his soul rest in peace. Om Shanti. 🙏

A positive and constructive meeting took place between the Curling Federation of India representative and the leadership of World Curling during the World Curling Open Meeting held in Geneva, Switzerland.

The World Curling leadership included President Mr. Beau Welling, Secretary General Mr. Colin Grahamslaw, Mr. Chad McMullan (World Floor Curling), and Ms. Zhang Hong, Independent Director, World Curling.

During the meeting, the official invitation for the 4th National Floor Curling event was formally handed over.

The discussion focused on strengthening institutional cooperation, advancing development initiatives, and furthering the growth of curling and floor curling in India.

The Curling Federation of India remains committed to working closely with World Curling to support the global development of the sport.
