**How well do you really know yourself?**

We spend years learning about the world around us.

But how much time do we spend understanding the person making the decisions?

Our reactions, emotions, habits and choices often reveal things about us that we haven’t consciously noticed.

Self-awareness begins when we stop simply reacting—and start observing.

So here’s a question for you:

**How well do YOU really know yourself?**

Take a moment before you answer.

Grateful for the opportunity to conduct a meaningful session with the students of Modern School, Faridabad on healthy screen habits and digital well-being.

What stayed with me most was the students’ openness, curiosity and willingness to reflect on their own relationship with screens.

Workshops like these remind me that digital safety is not only about limiting screen time — it is about developing awareness, self-control and healthier choices.

Thank you to the entire Modern School team for creating this opportunity and for their thoughtful support.

Most people don't fear failure.

They fear the possibility of failing in front of others.

This subtle difference changes how we understand procrastination, hesitation, and self-doubt.

Our mind is designed to protect us from social rejection because, historically, belonging to a group was essential for survival. Even today, this can influence our decisions more than we realize.

The question is not:
"Am I afraid of failing?"

The better question is:
"Am I afraid of being judged?"

This is one of the core ideas behind Mind Literacy—learning to observe the stories our mind creates before they quietly shape our choices.

I'd love to hear your perspective:
Have you ever delayed an opportunity because you worried about what others might think?

Not every difficult workplace memory is about what happened.
Many stay with us because we never understood why it happened.

Leaders, educators, and professionals often underestimate the power of unresolved meaning.
One thoughtful conversation can close a mental loop that someone has been carrying for years.

Real learning doesn't begin with information.

It begins with attention.

And attention begins with understanding your own mind.

This workshop reminded me that real education isn't measured only by academic performance.

It is reflected in a student's ability to focus.
A teacher's ability to inspire.
And a person's ability to understand themselves.

As educators, perhaps our responsibility extends beyond teaching subjects.

Perhaps it also includes helping learners build awareness of their own thinking, emotions and attention.

That is the direction I wish education moves towards.

We teach children what to think.

It's time we also teach them how their mind thinks.

That may be the missing chapter in education.

What if the biggest gap in education isn't technology... but understanding the human mind?

Over the past few workshops, I had the opportunity to interact with students and educators from different institutions.

One observation continues to stand out.

We invest enormous effort in improving curriculum, teaching methods and technology. Yet we rarely teach people how attention works, why emotions affect learning, or how the mind influences every decision they make.

Knowledge is important.
Skills are essential.

But I believe there is a third pillar that deserves equal attention—Mind Literacy.

When people understand their own mind, learning becomes deeper, focus improves, and growth becomes more sustainable.

Every workshop strengthens my belief that education must evolve beyond information delivery.

It must help people understand themselves.
