Senior and Master National Kickboxing Championship held at Mapusa Indoor Stadium in Goa from July 24 to 28. 84 boys, girls and officers participated in the competition on behalf of Wako Odisha. Out of that, 16 players and 1 coach participated on behalf of Dhenkanal Diamond Kickboxing Association. Out of those in the girls category, Sriyanka Samal (-40kg PF,two bronze medals in KL) Arundhati Sahu (-45kg PF,KL two bronze medals) Rupa Nayak (- 50kg LC bronze medal) Jyoti Behera (-55kg bronze medal in KL) Roshni Begum (-60kg PF bronze medal)
Subhashree Rout (bronze medal in-60kg LC) like that Dularam Hasada (Bronze medal in 51kg KL) Sushil Kumar Rout (Bronze medal at 57kg KL) in boys category Chandan Sahu (Two bronze medals in-63kg KL,LC) Ratikant Sahu (bronze medal in +94kg PF) got.
Mihir Kumar Sahu of Dhenkanal district was appointed as the coach of Odisha.
