SSP Thunders thrashed the SSP Smashers by 104 runs in the first match of the second IDC Triangular series today at the BST farms cricket ground.

Batting first,after been put into bat first, the Thunders came all gun blazing and scored 155/5 in the alloted 20 overs.

Chasing 156 for victory, the Smashers could not get going and meekly surrender to be bowled out for 51 inside the 13 overs.

SSP Thunders will now take on the defending champion SSP Dynamites in the next match of the series scheduled for 23rd of September 2017.

The first match of the 2nd IDC Triangular series is scheduled for 26th of August 2017 between the SSP Thunders and SSP Smashers.

Defending champion SSP Dynamites is the third team of the competition.

SSP Dynamites won the inaugural IDC T-20 triangular series by beating the SSP Smashers by 7 wickets in the Final of the series played at the BST Farms Dera Mandi cricket ground on 22nd of April 2017.

The 3rd and final league match of the SSP triangular T-20 series between the SSP Thunders and SSP Smashers is scheduled for 25th of March 2017 at the BST Farms cricket ground situated at Dera Mandi Road, Harsingar Lane, Mandi Gaon, New Delhi – 110 030.

All the three teams are in the race to reach the final of the series.
The two Finalists will be decided based on the below scenarios:-

1) If Smasher win –
a. Thunders will be out of the tournament and Smashers and Dynamites will be the two finalists.
2) If Thunders Win: -
A) If Thunders Bat First
a) If winning margin is 10 then Smashers will automatically advance to the final while Dynamites & Thunders will have same NRR. The second finalist will be decided based on furthers criteria of no of wicket etc.
b) If winning margin is less than 10 then Step 1(a) will be applicable.
c) If winning margin is more than 19 then Smashers will be out of the tournament and Thunders and Dynamites will be the two finalists.
d) If winning margin is 19 then Thunders will automatically advance to the final while Dynamites & Smashers will have same NRR. The second finalist will be decided based on furthers criteria of no of wicket etc.
e) If winning margin is more than 10 but less than 19 then Dynamites will be out of the tournament and Thunders and Smashers will be the two finalists.

B) If Smashers Bat First ( Calculation Based on Target 151 and can vary 1 ball based on the actual target)
a) Dynamite will be out and Thunders & Smashers will be the two finalists if
• Thunders win the match in 18.4 Overs and win with a single after score level.
• Thunders win the match in 19.1 Overs and win with a four after score level.
• Thunders win the match in 19.2 Overs and win with a six after score level.
b) Smashers will be out and Thunders & Dynamite will be the two finalists if
• Thunders win the match in 17.4 Overs win with a single after score level.
• Thunders win the match in 18 Overs and win with a four after score level.
• Thunders win the match in 18.1 Overs and win with a six after score level.
c) Thunders will be out and Smashers & Dynamite will be the two finalists if
• Thunders win the match with a single after score level but after 18.4 Overs
• Thunders win the match with a four after score level but after 19.1 Overs
• Thunders win the match with a six after score level but after 19.2 Overs

SSP Smashers won by 16 Runs

The SSP Smashers defeated the SSP Dynamites by 16 runs in the second match of the First SSP Cricket Triangular Series at the BST Farms Dera Mandi cricket ground on 4th of March 2017.
Batting First, after put into bat, the SSP Smashers posted a huge score of 159/7 from the allotted 20 overs.
in Reply, SSP Dynamites tried their best but could score only 143/3 and lost the match by 16 runs.
Congrats to all the Smashers for the outstanding performance.
The next match is between SSP Thunders and the SSP Smashers on 25th March 2017.
