Not 8 poses. 8 dimensions of a conscious life.

The first 5 are Bahiranga — Outer Practices.
These prepare you from the outside in.
🌿 Yama — how you treat others
🌿 Niyama — how you treat yourself
🌿 Asana — how you hold your body
🌿 Pranayama — how you breathe
🌿 Pratyahara — how you manage your senses

The last 3 are Antaranga — Inner Practices.
These take you from the mind to the soul.

🪷 Dhyana — learning to be still
🪷 Samadhi — becoming one with yourself

Most of the world practices only Asana.
That is one limb out of eight.
