Uttarakhand's Wushu player Sahil has made the state proud by winning the gold medal. Sahil, son of late Shafiq Ahmed alias Pehelwan ji of Bhaniyawala gave many medals to the state before. All the locals, the name of Sahil's father is famous Pahalwan. Sahil's father was also a renowned wrestler (Pahalwan) of the state. Sahil once again made the state proud by winning the gold medal. Sahil Qureshi won gold medal in open weight category.

Sahil told that his coach Anjana who is in Uttarakhand Police gives free training to all the players. Sahil said that the National Federation Cup was organized in Ranchi. Only one gold medal (silver medal) came from Uttarakhand and the rest, Jyoti Verma won silver and Karan, Sagar, Deepak, Shubham, Payal won bronze medal. Sahil said that his coach and all the teammates supported him. Sahil now expects the government to bring medals and get a job. Now government should give job to Sahil. Sahil says that if his and the government sees, he can win more medals for the country/province. Sahil says that his late father was the one who used to take care of the whole house, now he is the elders of the house and appeal to the government that Give Sahil a government job so that he can make the country/province proud
