44 Years of Sangharsha Krida Mandal! 💚😊🎉

On the occasion of the 44th Foundation Day of Sangharsha Krida Mandal, our members came together for a tree plantation drive, symbolizing our commitment to building a greener and healthier future.🌱

Founded on 18th July 1982, Sangharsha Krida Mandal has been a pillar of sports and social service in Konkan. From nurturing kabaddi talent to successfully organizing the Chiplun Half Marathon and promoting fitness initiatives, the Mandal continues to inspire generations through its dedication to community development.🏆

This meaningful initiative was carried out with the participation of Sangharsha Krida Mandal’s core members and supporters, whose continuous encouragement, dedication, and collective efforts strengthen our mission and help us move forward.😇

As we celebrate 44 remarkable years, we reaffirm our commitment to promoting sports, fitness, social responsibility, and environmental conservation.🎉

At the Chiplun Half Marathon 2025, participant's well-being remained our top priority. We sincerely thank MES Ayurved Mahavidyalaya (Department of Panchakarma) for organizing a refreshing Padabhyanga Camp, and B.K.L. Walawalkar Rural Medical College – Department of Community Medicine, Urban Health Training Center, Chiplun, for providing dedicated medical and health support during the event.

Your valuable contribution ensured our runners stayed safe, supported, and strong throughout the marathon. 🙏💪

The 2nd edition of Chiplun Half Marathon 2025, organized by Sangharsha Krida Mandal, was inaugurated on 30th November 2025 by our esteemed guests: Mr. Shekhar Nikam, MLA of Chiplun–Sangameshwar constituency; Mr. Ashok Shinde, Arjuna Award recipient and former member of the Beijing Asian Games Kabaddi Gold Medal winning team; Pro Kabaddi stars Mr. Aslam Inamdar, Mr. Aditya Shinde, and Mr. Pankaj Mohite; Mr. Vishal Bhosale, Chief Officer of Chiplun Municipal Council; Mr. Sachin Kadam, President of Sangharsha Krida Mandal; and Mr. Bhau Katdare, Senior player & mentor of Sangharsha Krida Mandal Chiplun.

We sincerely thank and appreciate their presence, which added immense inspiration and encouragement to all participants. Their support motivated everyone to run with purpose and promote the message: “Run to eliminate plastic waste.” 💙🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

The 2nd Edition of Chiplun Half Marathon 2025 was a true celebration of community, teamwork, and shared purpose.

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported, participated, partnered, volunteered, guided, and worked behind the scenes to make this event successful. A special thank you to our runners—on ground in Chiplun and virtual participants from across India—for running with passion and purpose 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

We are deeply grateful to our sponsors and partners for their continued support, and to the volunteers, medical & physio teams, technical team, and support staff for ensuring a safe and smooth experience for all.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Chiplun Municipal Corporation, Divisional Officers, and Police Department for their warm cooperation and support in ensuring a safe and traffic-free race route.
