Headed by our wonderful senior student, Chandhana Surabhi , our aim is to deliver the exact same quality, dedication, and authentic content right near your homes.

A performance that left us absolutely spellbound! ✨

Needless to mention how spectacularly our senior kids’ batch performed at the ‘Antarang Kathak’ show. Stepping onto the stage with such grace, precision, and poise, they completely stole the night and showed us all what true dedication looks like. 🌟

Watching them master complex rhythms and bring so much life to the stage was a moment of pure pride for all of us at Amrit Dhwani. It takes immense hard work, focus, and maturity to deliver a performance of this caliber, and these young dancers exceeded every expectation.

We are absolutely certain that they are on their way to becoming phenomenal artistes. The future of Kathak is incredibly bright with them leading the way! 🩰❤️

Be it a stage performance or a video content.. our heart’s content when we dance kathak in immeasurable 🫶

The venue where we danced was the magnificent Garuda Wisnu Kencana. At this particular spot stood Goddess Lakshmi holding a pot, surrounded by a wishing pond where visitors offered coins and prayers. It was simply called the “Wishing Place.”

Every dance journey begins with a wish — a quiet desire to learn, to grow, to express, and to become. Standing there, surrounded by countless wishes of strangers, I couldn’t help but think of all the dreams that brought each of us to Kathak.
Perhaps dance itself is a wish made visible.

Another beautiful aspect of this retreat was that it was open to every Amrit Dhwani student. It brought together dancers who had been with us for over two years and those who had joined just two months ago. Yet, once we travelled, explored, danced, and shared experiences together, those differences simply disappeared. What remained was a sense of belonging, friendship, and a shared love for Kathak.

✨ Art for art’s sake. ✨
PART -1

There is a powerful, undeniable pull in certain places on this earth that an artist simply cannot ignore. It calls to you, and the only authentic response is to move, to strike the earth, to offer your dance back to the source.

This wasn’t a performance. To us, what we created at the feet of the colossal Patung Garuda Wisnu Kencana in Bali was a ritual. A deliberate act to harness the ancient, high-vibrational energy of the space, to ground ourselves, and to empower our spirits.

The most beautiful surprise? Finding other Indian classical dancers there, independently drawn to the exact same spot, doing the exact same thing. No coordination, just a shared, invisible thread pulling us toward the same cosmic battery.

Art knows no limitations. It recognizes no barriers, no borders, and no grids. When the space demands a response, the soul simply dances.

Sharing a piece of our ritual with you all. 🙏🏽🍃✨
