Today on 24.08.2026, the Department of Youth Services & Sports, zone Bishnah organized Inter-School Zonal Level Selection Trial for U/19 yrs Boys in the discipline of Cricket under the Chairmanship Sh. Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District Youth Services & Sports Officer Jammu and overall Supervision by I/c Zonal Physical Education Officer, Bishnah, Sh. Pardeep Kumar Sharma, at Bhatia Cricket Academy Bishnah.

Near about 35 Students / Players participated in the said Selection Trial drawn from Government as well as Private Schools of zone Bishnah.



All the deputed field staff and other staff members of YSS Department were present there. The Selection Trial was conducted by the panel of experts Sh. Satinder Singh (PET), Sh. Arjun Singh (REK), Sh. Rohit Sadhotra (REK) & Sh. Kemti Sharma (NYC) of the Department.

Today on 22.08.2026, the Department of Youth Services & Sports, zone Bishnah organized Inter-School Zonal Level Competitions / Selection Trials in the disciplines of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Chess, Yoga, Football & Handball for U/19 yrs Girls under the Chairmanship Sh. Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District Youth Services & Sports Officer Jammu and overall Supervision by I/c Zonal Physical Education Officer, Bishnah, Sh. Pardeep Kumar Sharma, at Govt. High School Chak Murar.
On this occasion, Smt. Naseem Bano, Headmistress, Govt. High School Chak Murar, was the Chief Guest. With the co-operation of field staff of zone Bishnah the said competitions / Selection Trials became successful.
Speaking on the occasion Chief Guest Smt. Naseem Bano, Headmistress, Govt. High School Chak Murar encouraged the participants for their participation and Near about 50 Students / Players drawn from Govt. / Private institutions of zone Bishnah participated in the said competitions / selection trials.

In the end I/c ZPEO Bishnah, Sh. Pardeep Kumar Sharma, proposed words of appreciation and thanks the chief guest for their valuable support and panegyrizing the staff for making their sincere efforts in making said Competitions / Selection Trials a great success and appreciated the participants and motivated them to participate in games and sports to maintain their fitness level.

Chander Shekhar Dutta (PET), Sh. Rohit Sadhotra (REK), Smt. Nitu Sharma (REK) of the Department.

Hr. Sec. School Bishnah and Badminton (Boys & Girls) & Chess (Girls only) at Govt. Boys Hr. Sec. School Bishnah under the Chairmanship of District Youth Services & Sports Officer Jammu Sh. Sukhdev Raj Sharma and overall Supervision of Sh. Pardeep Kumar Sharma, Incharge Zonal Physical Education Officer Bishnah

Near about 50 Boys & Girls students / players drawn from different institutions Governmnet as well as Private of zone Bishnah to be participated in said Competitions / Selection Trials.

In the end ZPEO Bishnah Sh. Pardeep Kumar Sharma, proposed words of appreciation and extolling the staff for making their sincere efforts in making these Competitions / Selection Trials a great success and appreciated the students / players and motivated them to participate in games and sports to maintain their fitness level.
