“THAAR”, The Aravali Adrenaline Rush -
A two day cycling festival on 11th Nov- 12th Nov 2017 to celebrate the city's inception 290 years back.

THAAR 2017 will mark the start of the week long Jaipur foundation celebrations. The beautiful “Pink city", established by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II on Nov. 18, 1727. Jaipur, the capital city is the gateway to the unique state of Rajasthan.

This two days extravaganza is scripted to give you a fairy tale experience of the ancient royal tradition of Jaipur. “THAAR” is for those who’d love to relive the bygone era of Forts and Palaces by pedalling through. So get ready for the enthralling Cycling challenge amidst world’s oldest and mightiest Aravali ranges.

"Thaar" will be covering a vast region of Royal Rajasthan, the ancient region of Rajputana which is famous for Royal dynasties and regal armed forces in the Princely States. A region that is known for the pomp display and its magnificent palaces.

Come and experience the splendidly diverse culture and glorious history of Rajasthan, the ‘Land of the Regal State’ and the "Terrain of Golden Sand". Feel the ravishing beauty of this state which is simply, ostensible and aggrandized in every nook of this place with the amazing diversity ranging from stunning site of forts ,caparisoned elephants and camels , far-stretched mustard fields changing to the stretches of golden sands embellished with colorful attires amidst the melodious sounds of traditional music and versatility of kalbelia dancers.

‘Records’ whenever we hear this word, one thing comes to our mind ‘this person must have done something incredible.’ We all know people who creates records are extraordinary people filled with a huge amount of determination and when it comes to Guinness world record that person becomes super special. I mean there are over 7 billion human beings and that one person did something incredible that no other could’ve done. Today I am covering that special person who is daring to make a new record and his determination is so strong that his fellows couldn’t doubt him even for a second.
“Randonneur Banoor Sandeep Reddy” is determined to make a new record for covering the largest distance on bicycle in a country.
Now that we are hoping a new one to be created in world of bicycling, before entering more into what he is about to do let me tell you what is the previous world record in this, the previous record is 15,222 kilometers all over India in 111 days held by Mr. Santosh Holi. Sandeep is after this record and his aim is to complete 22,000 kilometers in 180 days all over India.

Starting in Hyderabad, Telangana covering all border states with accurate route map he is going well currently he arrived at Bikaner, Rajasthan. Today he has already completed about 8000 Kms and he is going really strong with the help of good people in every place he is going, All bicycle clubs present in every city are helping him and making sure that he achieves this record and make India proud.
Let’s make this person famous that he would get help in every corner of India so he can complete his record successfully.

सीएम वसुंधरा राजे राजस्थान का बजट पेश कर रही हैं। सीएम राजे ने बीकानेर के साइकिल खिलाडिय़ों के लिए एक और बड़ी सौगात दी है। घोषणा के अनुसार बीकानेर में साइकिल अकेडमी की सौगात मिली है। मुख्यमंत्री ने बजट भाषण में 5 करोड़ 17 लाख से साइक्लिंग अकादमी की स्थापना करने की घोषणा की है।
