I love my baby... but sometimes I miss my old life 💔

If you've ever had this thought after delivery, you're not alone.

Many mothers miss:
✨ Their freedom
✨ Their routine
✨ Their uninterrupted sleep
✨ Their hobbies and personal time
✨ The version of themselves they were before motherhood

And here's something important:

Missing your old life does NOT mean you love your baby any less.

Motherhood is a beautiful transformation, but it also comes with grief for the life that changed.

The truth is, two things can be true at the same time:
❤️ You can deeply love your baby.
❤️ And still miss parts of your old life.

Instead of judging yourself, give yourself grace.

You're not becoming a bad mother.
You're becoming a new version of yourself.

Dr. Roshni Dave has shared a detailed video on this topic on YouTube, including why these feelings happen, when they're normal, and practical ways to feel more like yourself again 🎥

A strong core is not just about abs…
It’s about stability, posture, balance, strength and protecting your body in everyday life 💪✨

Your core supports:
✔️ Lower back
✔️ Posture
✔️ Pelvic stability
✔️ Balance & movement
✔️ Daily activities and workouts

And the best part?
You don’t need complicated gym routines to start improving it 🌸

Simple core-focused exercises can help improve:
✨ Strength
✨ Mobility
✨ Body control
✨ Overall fitness

But remember:
⚠️ Core workouts should match YOUR body and fitness level.
⚠️ Don’t rush difficult movements without proper form.
⚠️ Postpartum moms especially should focus on safe recovery-based core strengthening.

Fitness is not about perfection.
It’s about consistency and taking care of your body step by step. 🤍

Now be honest…
Could YOU complete this challenge? 👀😅

“Yes… it CAN happen.”
And no, it does NOT make you a bad mother. 🤍

One of the hardest postpartum emotions many women silently experience is feeling emotionally disconnected from their baby.

And because motherhood is expected to feel “instantly magical,” many moms feel guilty even thinking this out loud. 💔

But postpartum reality is different for everyone.

After delivery, a mother goes through:
✨ Massive hormonal changes
✨ Physical exhaustion
✨ Sleep deprivation
✨ Emotional overwhelm
✨ Anxiety and mental fatigue

Sometimes, instead of instant bonding, a mom may feel:
⚠️ Numb
⚠️ Emotionally distant
⚠️ Confused
⚠️ Irritated
⚠️ Or emotionally empty

And this can sometimes be connected to postpartum depression.

Postpartum depression is NOT just “sadness.”
It can affect bonding, emotions, energy, thoughts, and daily functioning.

The most important thing?
👉 Don’t ignore these feelings.
👉 Don’t suffer silently.
👉 Don’t judge yourself.

Healing starts when we talk about it openly and seek support without shame. 🌸

A mother doesn’t need criticism during this phase.
She needs understanding, reassurance, rest, support, and professional help if needed. 🤍

And to every mom reading this:
You are not failing.
You are going through a phase that deserves care, compassion, and support.

🎥 We’ve explained this topic in detail on YouTube.
Watch the full video to understand postpartum depression, emotional disconnect, and when to seek help. 💙

Have you ever heard someone openly talk about this before? 👀
Let’s normalize these conversations in the comments ⬇️

Strength training is not just about muscles.
Especially for women… it’s about feeling stronger from the inside too.

And no, you don’t need heavy gym equipment or intense workouts to begin.

Even simple movements like light deadlifts at home can help improve:
✨ Strength
✨ Posture
✨ Energy levels
✨ Bone health
✨ Core stability
✨ Confidence

For mothers, especially after delivery, the body goes through major physical changes:
• Weak core muscles
• Back pain
• Low energy
• Poor posture from feeding & carrying the baby
• Muscle weakness

That’s why gentle strength training matters. 🌸

Deadlifts, when done correctly and safely, help strengthen:
✔️ Lower back
✔️ Glutes
✔️ Legs
✔️ Core muscles

And honestly?
Sometimes workouts become more than fitness…

They become “me time.”
A moment where you reconnect with yourself again. 🤍

You don’t have to become perfect overnight.
Start small. Stay consistent. Your body will thank you later ✨

Would you try strength training at home? 👀

Sometimes motherhood feels overwhelming…
even when nothing is technically “wrong.”

The baby is okay.
The family is okay.
Everything around you seems “fine.”

But inside?
You still feel exhausted, emotional, overstimulated, or mentally drained.

And that feeling is REAL. 🤍

Because motherhood is not just physical work.
It’s mental load too.

It’s:
• Constant thinking
• Constant responsibility
• Interrupted sleep
• Hormonal changes
• Emotional pressure
• Feeling needed all the time

Even when you’re sitting and “resting,”
your brain often never truly switches off.

And many moms feel guilty for being overwhelmed because they think:
“But I should be happy… everything is fine.”

But overwhelm does not mean you are ungrateful.
It means you are human.

You don’t need to “earn” rest by breaking down first.

So if motherhood feels heavy sometimes…
please know this:

🌸 You are not weak
🌸 You are not failing
🌸 You are carrying a lot silently

And you deserve support too. 🤍

If this resonated with you, save it for the days you feel emotionally exhausted.

Pregnancy and postpartum recovery are not meant to be handled alone 🤍

A supportive partner can make a huge difference emotionally, physically and mentally.
Sometimes support is not about big gestures.
It’s about showing up, staying patient and making her feel seen.

Healing feels safer when she knows she’s not alone.

You had a baby… but why don’t you feel happy?

Everyone celebrates the baby…
But no one asks the mother how she’s really feeling.
Postpartum Depression is real.
And it’s more common than people think.
If you’re feeling:
• Constant sadness
• Mood swings
• Anxiety or overthinking
• Feeling disconnected from your baby
• Extreme tiredness or lack of interest

It’s not “just hormones”
It’s not something to ignore
And most importantly
You are NOT alone 🤍

Early understanding = better healing

What she says vs what she feels…
This is the reality of so many new moms.

She smiles. She says she’s okay.
But inside… she’s tired, overwhelmed and silently struggling.

Not because she wants to hide it…
But because she’s trying to stay strong.

Let’s change this.
Next time, don’t just ask about the baby…
Ask her how she is 🤍
