Excited to be Hosting an Introductory workshop on concepts of Joint control training (JCT) and Animal Flow.
๐ŸšจJoint Control Training (JCT) is an Educative approach to Active mobility training that focuses on joint conditioning, building resilience, and control over a jointโ€™s full range of motion. By systematically improving strength, stability, and neuromuscular control at a jointโ€™s end range, JCT aims to optimize mobility while reducing the risk of pain and injury.

Rooted in the principles of *Functional Range Conditioning (FRC)*, this method emphasizes three key components:
1. *Mobility Development* โ€“ Expanding usable joint ranges while reinforcing strength and control.
2. *Joint Resilience* โ€“ Strengthening connective tissues and enhancing load-bearing capacity to prevent injuries.
3. *Neuromuscular Control* โ€“ Training the nervous system to actively engage and stabilize joints throughout their full range of motion.

By integrating these principles, *Joint Control Training* ensures that joints become not only more mobile but also stronger, more adaptable, and pain-free in real-world movement scenarios.

EXPECTATIONS(from the past-self): What all plans I had for you and look what you have become ๐Ÿ˜ก.
REALITY(present-self): Chill dude, I am happier and content with all that has happened๐Ÿ˜‰. And wrt the plans you had for me, let's work on them with your experience and my wisdom๐Ÿค๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜‡.
On a serious note, real transformations happen in one's MINDSET, that's what will make you keep moving forward irrespective of all good-bad times that we go through.
This PHYSICAL BODY becomes merely an outcome of all the internal processes happening within the body, which are infact a direct reflection of one's actions/habits.
This PHYSICAL-MENTAL duo is forever evolving into something, and that "something " completely depends on your actions.๐Ÿ™ƒ

Extended Range, Movement variations- PART1.
Following the principles of a regular split squat,
TOES ELEVATED DEFICIT SPLIT SQUATS does make your muscles perform more work with the addition of depth that knee has to move into.
Also, the addition of a slant board under the front leg forces the ankle joint to get in an extreme dorsiflexed position that eventually will lead to a better dorsiflexion range that most humans lack right now;(.
Not missing out on the tiniest of a body part.....the big toe(along with rest other toes) of the rear leg could feel the heat of that added range๐Ÿ™ƒ.
So, apart from mobilizing the knees and hips, smaller joints like ankle and toes gets a good range-focussed training ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

4 months into this journey now and I absolutely have no regrets with my decision of learning shaolin kungfu under ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป
Also, got the 5-step and continuous fist form in my arsenal and super excited to be PROGRESSING towards some basic weapon forms ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜‡
