Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, in his recent visit to Saudi Arabia, gifted King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud a gold-plated replica of the Cheraman Juma Masjid in Kerala. Built in AD 629, this is the first mosque in India and the second in the world where Juma prayers were started.
