Our last TRYKA Simulator event was such a success and we wanted to share some of the highlights with you. From first-timers giving it a go to seasoned athletes pushing for faster times, the energy in the gym was incredible! ๐Ÿ™Œ

The TRYKA Sim is the perfect opportunity to test yourself, experience the race format, and see if TRYKA competitions are something you'd like to take on. The event is designed for all fitness levels, from beginners right through to experienced competitors.

We all know grilled, baked and air-fried foods are usually the healthier option compared to fried foods ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿฅ—

But one thing that often gets overlooked is sauces! ๐Ÿ‘€

Store-bought sauces can be packed with hidden calories, sugar and unnecessary ingredients, and those extra calories can add up quickly. The good news? You don't have to miss out on flavour. Making your own sauces at home is quick, easy, packed with protein and, in our opinion, tastes even better! ๐Ÿ’ช

๐Ÿง„ Roasted Garlic Protein Sauce
โœ”๏ธ ยฝ cup Greek yogurt
โœ”๏ธ 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese
โœ”๏ธ 1 tsp lemon juice
โœ”๏ธ ยฝ tsp black pepper
โœ”๏ธ 1 tbsp water
โœ”๏ธ 2 cloves garlic
โœ”๏ธ ยฝ tsp garlic powder
โœ”๏ธ Pinch of salt

๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Buffalo Protein Sauce
โœ”๏ธ ยผ cup Greek yogurt
โœ”๏ธ 1 tbsp hot sauce (Frank's is our favourite!)

Sometimes, all you need is a good walk.

You've probably heard that you need to hit 10,000 steps per day!

There is nothing magical about 10,000 steps. The real goal is simple: get as many steps in as you can, as consistently as you can.

Every extra step counts.

For an average adult, walking can burn approximately:

โœ… 5,000 steps = 200โ€“250 calories
โœ… 10,000 steps = 400โ€“500 calories
โœ… 15,000 steps = 600โ€“750 calories

(Actual calorie burn depends on your body weight, walking pace, and terrain)

But walking isn't just about burning calories.

A reminder that you can enjoy yourself, have a few drinks, and still feel good over the weekend ๐Ÿ‘Œ

A few simple tips that can make a big difference:

๐Ÿ’ง Start hydrated
Donโ€™t wait until the end of the night. Aim to drink water throughout the day before going out.

๐Ÿฅค Alternate drinks
A simple trick: one water or zero-calorie mixer between alcoholic drinks can help massively with hydration and recovery.

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Donโ€™t drink on an empty stomach
Getting protein, carbs, and some healthy fats in beforehand can slow alcohol absorption and help energy levels.

๐Ÿบ Lower calorie swaps if you want them:
โ€ข Light beers / lager over heavier pints
โ€ข Spirits + zero mixers over sugary cocktails
โ€ข Dry wines over sweeter wines
โ€ข Smaller measures if youโ€™re trying to be mindful

No need to obsess over calories - awareness beats restriction.
