⚽️ MATCH REPORT | Youths 7️⃣ - 0️⃣ Killenagh ⚽️

A fantastic performance from our young youths team yesterday as they recorded a comprehensive home victory over near neighbours Killenagh in their first game of the Youths Division 1 campaign.

It was an excellent all-round team performance, with every player from 1–16 putting in a tremendous shift and contributing to a well-deserved win.

First-half goals from Luke Sheehan, Charlie Brett and Conor Long with Second-half strikes from Mikie Murphy, Kaid Fleming, Jayden Moody and Nathaniel Bugaj.

A special mention to our new boy Nathaniel Bugaj, who was excellent on his debut at centre-back and capped off a superb performance with a goal.

A brilliant start to the campaign and plenty of positives to take from the performance 🔵👍

⚽️ MATCH REPORT | Men's B 6️⃣ - 4️⃣ Killenagh ⚽️

A brilliant 10-goal thriller this afternoon in the big local derby!!! Our lads showed incredible character, coming back from 3–0 down inside 20 minutes to take home all 3 points!!

Leon calmly converted a penalty before Jude produced an unbelievable volley from halfway to make it 3–2. Jude then grabbed his second before half-time from a Calum Gibson cross to make it 3–3.

Luke Walker put Courtown ahead early in the second half, but Kilenagh levelled again with another long-range stunner. Jude then completed his hat-trick after a quick throw from Luke Walker, before adding his fourth late on to seal a fantastic comeback!

Open to all boys and girls aged 4–8, it’s the perfect place for new and exciting young players to get involved, have fun and the game.

Courtown Hibs Football For All Program - specifically designed to support soccer players with additional needs. Our new season will kick off on Friday 18th of September at the following times:

4pm - 4:45pm ages 4-6 years
5pm-6pm ages 7-12 years

Our new age group for this season will be 6pm - 7pm ages 13-17 years. We are looking for all new players at this age group.

Please note we can also slot children in to different age groups based on their own personal requirements and abilities.

New players are always welcome! Please come and try any Friday from the 18th of September with the exception of school holidays.

Courtown Run Club are holding their 1st Run event on 13th September.

They would love to community to get involved and are looking for as many parents and kids as possible to volunteer and help out on the day — marshalling, water stations, medals, start/finish area and lots more.

It would be brilliant to see the Hibs and wider community getting behind this fledgling organisation 🔵⚫️
