“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness…” (Galatians 5:22, NLT).
As a Taekwon‑Do student, I’m learning that character matters as much as technique.
The Holy Spirit grows His fruit in me so my five tenets become a way of life.
• Courtesy — Love, Kindness, Peace: I choose to value people, speak gently, and stay calm—on and off the mats.
• Integrity — Goodness, Faithfulness: I do what’s right even when it costs, keep my word, and own my mistakes.
• Perseverance — Patience, Joy: I trust God’s timing through slow progress and find joy in small wins.
• Self‑Control — Peace, Patience, Self‑Control: I pause before reacting; I let peace steady my breath and wisdom guide my response.
• Indomitable Spirit — Faithfulness, Love, Joy: I stand firm for what is right with courageous, hopeful love that protects the weak.
Prayer: Holy Spirit, grow Your fruit in me today so my tenets point people to Jesus. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Try this: Before your next class, read Galatians 5:22–23. Pick one tenet and one fruit to focus on; after training, note one way you saw it grow.
