Overhead squats are probably the best exercise I have come across. Strength, mobility and balance all combined. 5th ever time doing these. Up to 50kg now. Body weight is the target. Tough on the wrists though.

Tuck planche to handstand attempt. Getting better. Strength isn't the issue, it's the mobility in the shoulders. Slowly improving though.

Injury is part and parcel of sport and leading an active lifestyle. It's hard to stay motivated when injured. Sometimes, the hardest part of all is the lonely rehab. I think it may be easier for athletes who compete in individual sports as they are used to training alone. However, its never easy. Take a look at this 2 part documentary on South African rugby player Jean De Villiers. Remarkable story and nothing but respect for the man. Its not a rugby story, its an athletes story!

Sitting is a necessary evil in every day life. However, we can also turn it to our advantage. Sitting on the floor with a cushion under you to raise the hips slightly, and legs crossed or soles of feet together. Also something at your back to try and keep an upright posture. Not perfect but definitely better than slumping in a chair.

As Ido Portal says every day movements should be used to your benefit. So sitting drying off after a quick swim is perfect time for a quick stretch. Just integrate all these little movements in your daily life. Small daily improvements lead to large gains over the space of the year.
