Our 3 swimmers and 2 coaches heading off to Dublin in June for the National Special Olympics Games (Sarah, Éanna, Luke, Niamh, Monica)

They spent their Easter Saturday at the Munster Squad Training in UL 🏊‍♀️🐣 They got on great and are training really hard on their events every Thursday Splashworld Tramore.

Luke & Sarah off to the first Team Munster Special Olympics training day in UL for swimming 🏊

We are thrilled 3 of our swimmers made it on to Team Munster for the National Games in Dublin in June. 🇮🇪

Thank you to Special Olympics Waterford for accommodating our swimmers at the regional games last year. This is the first big competition our swimmers are taking part in and we couldn’t be prouder 👏🏻

Also thank you to our amazing Halliwick Instructors and Volunteers for training all our swimmers every week 🙌

🏊We are looking for volunteers to join our 2025/2026 season. You DO NOT have to be a swimmer!

ℹ️Our voluntary swim club will commence on Thursday 18th of September in Splashworld Tramore 4.30-5.30pm.

ℹ️Waiting list in operation for swimmers.

ℹ️Volunteer Training; Thursday 11th of September 4.30-5.30pm in Splashworld. Our Senior instructors will introduce you to the Halliwick Method and safe support holds when working with swimmers. No swimmers for training.

Five Local Sports Partnerships are coming together to create our first ever joint SportAbility Day

We had our first Swim Gala outside of our club back in March. All our swimmers took home a bronze, sliver or gold medals 💯🏊 well done to all our swimmers, parents and volunteers who attended on such an enjoyable day out 👏🩵 thank you to Special Olympics Waterford Special Olympics Munster for hosting this event 🙌
