💚 Please join us on Wednesday evening as we welcome home Fozzy, Tom and PJ as they complete their incredible 400KM charity run in aid of Bru Columbanus Cork, in memory of Aidan Forristal. 💚

After days on the road across Munster,the lads are expected to arrive back to the Cathedral in Ardfert at approximately 7pm, all going to plan.

We would love to see a big crowd out to support them on the final stretch home.

Over 600 people filled the room at the Ballyroe Lodge Hotel for a night that will live long in the memory of our community. From the moment the red carpet opened to the final celebrations late into the night, the atmosphere was nothing short of electric ✨

📣 JUDGES REVEAL 📣

Tonight, we are privileged to welcome an outstanding panel of judges to the 2026 Ardfert Film Awards, a group bringing creativity, experience, entertainment, and a deep appreciation for storytelling to what promises to be a spectacular night of community talent and celebration. 🎬✨

We are delighted to have Radio Kerry favourites Andrew Morrissey and Elaine Kinsella joining us as guest judges. As the voices behind Kerry’s Full Breakfast, Andrew and Elaine are known across the county for their warmth, humour, and connection to the local community. Their passion for storytelling and entertainment makes them the perfect duo to help judge tonight’s productions.

We are also honoured to welcome Karl King to our judging panel. With more than 20 years of experience in the film industry and involvement in over 150 productions, Karl brings a remarkable wealth of knowledge and expertise to the evening. His work has included productions such as Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Jane Eyre, One Day, The Crown, Mary Queen of Scots and Joyride.

Please join us in giving our judges a huge Ardfert welcome and sincere thanks for being part of this special night in aid of the Ardfert Sportsfield Development project. 🌟🏆

After months of planning, filming, fundraising, rehearsals, laughter, and incredible community effort, the night is finally here…

🎬 The Ardfert Film Awards 🎬

Tonight, over 500 people will gather in the Ballyroe Lodge Hotel for what promises to be one of the most memorable community events our parish has ever seen.

Seven productions.
Countless volunteers.
One incredible community spirit.

From The Snapper to The Full Monty, from laughter to powerful drama, tonight is a celebration of the people who stepped forward, got involved, and made something truly special in support of the Ardfert Sportsfield Development Project.

This event would not be possible without:
