I’m not a runner.
I don’t have the time.
I’ve just had a baby.
I’m not fit enough.
I have asthma.
My body won’t be able for it.
And yet… look at these photos. 🥹🩷
These aren’t women pretending running is easy.
They’re women who had very real reasons to doubt whether they could do it and decided to give it a go anyway.
And one of the biggest things I noticed when we got our 5K photos back?
It wasnt the pace.
It wasnt the finish time.
It wasnt who came first.
The smiles 🫶
Because sometimes the biggest barrier between where you are and where you want to be is the story you’ve been telling yourself about what you can’t do.
These ladies showed up, trained together and completed their 5K. 🏃♀️❤️
And maybe the best part?
They actually enjoyed doing something they once weren't sure they could do.
Sometimes you just have to stop believing everything you tell yourself. 🩷
I’m incredibly proud of this little running group. 🥹🏃♀️
